Lee Ranaldo
The Sonic Youth co-founder introduced his new band at the Bell House in Brooklyn, performing music from his most recent release, Electric Trim, now out on Mute Records. His new collaboration with Spanish producer and musician Raúl “Refree” Fernandez is an interesting departure from his previous band, The Dust. Here Lee only performs with an acoustic guitar. His music is more stripped down and the lyrics are a reflection of the current times.
